Speeking about engine oil, what is the highest price you would pay for your oil?

$6/quart for Mobile 1 15/50.

It's oil not liquid gold.

I use Harley Genuine 20/50 for two reasons - first, it's what the manufacturer recommends and they generally know more about it than I do. Second, it's surprisingly affordable at about £35 for a gallon (or however much is in the large containers).

$15.95 or maybe $16.95 for RedLine from dealership. I'm sure I could find it cheaper but I'm not into price shopping & driving around to pick it up. That's here in California.

I run Full synthetic 20w/50 in both bikes. Usually a Mobil 1, Amsoil, Lucas, Drag or whatever I can get at that time. Not too picky about brand just viscosity, whatever the price is at the time is what I pay. I've never been one to price shop for oil.

Valvoline VR1 everyday price is $6 and on sale is around $4
Brad Penn by the case is about $6
Either product is an outstanding choice. I wouldn't go higher than $6

It's been so long since I bought some, I don't remember. It was at an indie shop a few months ago. It wasn't all that much from what my brain can come up with...under $10 a quart.

Ok I ' m paying around 8$ / liter and it's a full synthetic API-SL/CH-4. A vintage blend with zinc and phosphore. So it's not to expensive.

Wish I had $1 for every oil thread on this forum. I'd never have to worry about what I pay per quart. Royal Purple 20/50 at around $9 a quart at Pep Boys, which is the only place close that sells it. I put it in all three holes.
