No big deal. Take a change of clothes, a cell phone and a credit card. Find the back roads and enjoy yourself. I rode from Anchorage Alaska to Orlando Florida and wish I hadn't hauled so much **** with me! And I wished it was further. You'll have a great time and DON'T RUSH IT! Enjoy.

You will be fine. Use to take off and do 1000 mile plus a lot.

We did a 550 mile trip last year. It took us 10 hours with eating and gas stops. But it let us know there's cities and places that are closer and we plan on going to those this summer. You'll be fine.

Be aware of helmet laws if you don't wear one.

Too far.
Too risky.
Be safe and trailer it.

1200 miles is two easy days of riding on the interstate (or one long day and there by lunch the next). Or it could be a week on back roads.

Figure out your timeframe and pick a route.

The limited will eat 1100 miles for lunch and still have room for snacks.
