Rather than pegs? Probably. I'm sure they are very comfortable for long trips, but I just hate the look of them.

I really didn't care for the look of the stock "D" footboards on my Heritage but my newIronside swept wing footboards look pretty sharp I think.

They would look pretty stupid on a sportie, but don't knock it until you've tried it. I like the floor bords, and heel/toe shifting.

They would look silly on yer sporty
I saw a heriatge once that had the boards removed and replaced with pegs..it did look cool..but i ain't giving up my boards..besides you can't even see 'em when I have my big feet planted on them
and they are a safety device, they let me know when I've leaned too far

I absolutely love my floorboards. My old bike had pegs and my ankles just started to kill me after a while. It's nice to have full support under my feet while I am riding. I even threw on heel supports for me highway pegs, which I would never remove.

I've had bikes with boards and I like them very much. They certainly would look out of place on my Sportster.
