First ride of the season!
Decided to put my Street Cannon mufflers on before I lowered the bike off the jack its been on all winter.
Right side muffler was a 10 minute struggle both on and off. Left muffler took less than 2 minutes to remove, and the Street Cannon practically fell on. Had to pull it back out to line it up with the right side.
Than took a 60 mile ride. Love the sound of the Street Cannons. Looking forward to the next ride!

Sweet! I don't know how you riders up north stand it. I've been riding off an on all year. But, at least you're getting out now! And it's about time.

Congrats! Got to ride the King for the first time a couple days ago. Love the sound of my Street Cannons too.

Woke mine up today. Washed, waxed, and given a critical check over and air up the tires. Going out tomorrow if it doesn't rain, 60-70* expected tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about all these late first rides though I'm really not that far ahead. This has been one screwed up winter to say the least. Monday's morning's low is supposed to be around freezing here. They are cautioning everyone to cover up any plants they may have put out. Old man winter just won't let go. Will probably go from winter to summer. With no Spring in between.

Got mine out for the first time Thursday evening for a short 20 mile ride. Also took a 30 mile ride Friday evending with the wife. As others have mentioned there is sand all over the road so have to be careful, especially at the interesections and around curves.
On a side note, since I just bought the bike (first Harley I've owned, 2009-FXSTC) last Spring, this was my first Winter storing it. I did the oil/fluid change(s) last Fall, stabalized a full tank of gas, put the battery tender on the battery and covered her up. Took the cover off Thursday night, wheeled her out of the garage, turned on the ignition and she fired up on the first second the starter was engaged. Ran perfectly !
I was so pleased after 35 previous years of carbed bikes that you need to fiddle around with for a while to get them started and running right after the Winter nap.

Congrats on your first ride of the season. I was over in Marquette on Friday and worked out a few minor details with my bike and the dealer. Will be ready to go by next Thursday, but the weather is still too bad and tons of sand/salt left on the roads gotta have some rain ! I'm gonna have to go get her the following week, there talking a 60* day and the rest of the week is in the low 40*s. Have fun, ride safe.
