Hi,

I'm going to order V&H shortshots for my black denim street bob. I'm debating going to with chrome, or spend a little more for the black.

This may sound silly, but I'm a bit cautious with the black pipes clashing with the black denim. I've looked at quite a few pictures and I just go back and forth with it.

For folks who have a black exhaust on their black denim bike, do the blacks clash? Is the black coloration similar enough in color?

I'm opt for the safe route and go chrome.

Just go with the best pipe on the market THUNDERHEADER and wrap it!!! Great performance and an awesome look.

 

I prefer black, my 13 Denim Street glide has black V&H monster duals with a black V&H Pro pipe.

 

Thunderheaders are great, but a bit out of my price range. I was just looking to spend around $400. I think the shortshots are probably the loudest pipe (I like loud pipes) at that price point....that look nice.

 

its your bike , do what you want , with or without approval from the internet.

 

I have a black denim bike. It's in my signature.

 

I have Blk denim and went with black pipes shown in my signature

 

Nothing goes better with black then more black!

 

Get them powder coated gloss black and they'd really pop. I've seen a few like that and it's sweet. My powder coater can even do a "black chrome" powder coat. Just a thought.

 

im getting black pipes for my denim fatboy as there isn't really any chrome on my bike and i want it to match. but i haven't got them yet.
but i have seen a denim fatboy at HD which has the V&H black big radius 2 -2 and it looks fit.
it looks this the pipes were painted to match the bike, in my opinion.

but guess its down to preference, im not a huge chrome fan so i would automatically opt for the black ones.
