Default brand new CVO broke!!!

So I picked up my 2014 CVO road King last Wednesday. Tonight, riding with the wife the throttle broke. It was like it detached from the mechanism. ...?? I was able to limp it home by pushing the throttle in and twisting at the same time. Obviously it's under warranty but I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Thanks!

Not I. Not sure how the fly by wire throttles are set up inside the control housing.

Sounds like the three plastic tabs that go into the handlebar notches must have sheared off somehow or they weren't seated into the slots when the throttle grip was installed.

How many years did Harley use a throttle cable? Now cables are history, old technology, passe, archaic. Want to buy a cable?

i would much rather have cables, every bike i've ever had in the last 45 years had cables, except this one. do we really need TBW ?
