Default Screamin Eagle tuner???

I am considering buying a Screamin Eagle tuner. I have a 2007 Road Glide, High Flow air cleaner(Screamin Eagle) and Vance and Hines mufflers. All else is stock. Am I chasing the wrong animal?

Quite honestly I would go with the superchips tuner. They are running a forum member special 1/2 off. Don't get me wrong I have a race tuner, but the SC has more flexibility from the looks of it.

The SEPST works fine. You'll get a bank of base calibrations where you can find one to start with and modify later. Most dyno tune shops know how to use it as well. So do the HD shops just in case you need their help.

I went with the Screamin Eagle my self and I love it.
What sold it for me was the statement the service writer
said to me 6 years ago. I cant remember word for
word, but the Screamin Eagle is in there, and it dose not
just piggy back on the existing system. I don't know if
this holds true now or not but in 08 it worked for me.

I don't think the Superchips tuner has the flexibility the SEPST does. I believe all they have is canned maps and don't allow any real world changes. Definitely something to check.

Awesome deal! I bought the Superchips tuner. 1/2 off and I can avoid the dealer... No brainer. Dealer wanted an install fee and Dyno time to set it up. Thanks to all for the help.

There is no reason at all to do any dyno time with this tuner. It cannot be adjusted like the SEPST can. It only loads canned maps.

The TTS Mastertune, DynoJet PowerVision and SEPST are all great tuners. They flash new programs onto the ECM rather than piggybacking on it (and don't have to be kept on the bike as a result)
