Nice write up, did you own the bike before the rebuild or are you finding the parts as you go to complete a build? I realize you said you made some discs ions about which case to use, but never said why you chose the way you did. Parts on hand might have been why.

I'll check out some of the links you gave tomorrow...ish, as time allows.

Edit: oh crap, I just looked at the link in your signature. There goes my (non-riding) time this weekend.
