Default Laughlin river run?

Anyone heading out to Laughlin this year? My sister is running a decal booth in Oatman and I'll be hanging out there most the week. Come by and say hello, I'll be the guy dressed like a biker, lol!

Describe what dressing like a biker looks like.

That stretch between Oatman and Kingman is a nice one. I probably wouldn't be going during bike week if I weren't out here already. I came out from Riverside, Ca. Rode up to Zion and camped for a week, got back and figured I might as well see what bike week is all about.

You really want me to explain the humor in saying "I'll be the guy dressed like a biker" at bike week?

Lycra shorts?

Might make it to Oatman. I'll be the guy on the black Harley, dodging donkeys.

Lightbulb

That is probably the longest annual event except maybe Daytona. I first went in the 1980's, and then a couple of times after that, but not regular. Events like these are for the true aficionado for the motorcycle lifestyle, which I never fully embraced. I was into all things m/c in my 20's for a time, but I'm more a loner, preferring the company of two or three more riders doing our own thing.

Now that I'm in my 70's, I don't have the desire to exert that much energy. I enjoy a 200 mile day ride and I'm satisfied.
