Replaced Rocker Gaskets, Now No Electrical Power.. Help
Hello everyone,
I have a 2007 sportster 1200 and I replaced my rocker gaskets today with no problems but, when I was all done I went to turn on the power to the bike and all I got was the Oil light, a dim neutral light, and a very dim headlight. The horn doesn't work, the odometer is not showing, my fuelpak is not getting power, and I don't hear the fuel pump getting power.
When I changed the gaskets the only plugs I disconnected was the fuel pump connector, the connector that is attached to the wire that goes into the rear cylinder, and the connector for the coil pack.
I made sure the battery has a charge, I then went back and checked all of my connections and they are all connected, i also checked the fuses and there aren't any broken fuses.
If anyone has any ideas and can help that would be great!
Thanks!

how did you make sure the battery had a charge? when was the last time the bike was ran? does the starter engage at all or click? sounds like your battery is very weak (dim lights) or maybe a loose battery cable. I would make sure your battery is good...fully charge and load test, then make sure all the cables are tight both at the battery and the ground stud. let us know what you find...may help someone else out. good luck

I put a battery tester on and the battery is good, I went back triple checked that everything was connected and tightened down.
It does have a security system where the key fob needs to be close to the bike or if you move it the blinkers will flash...
