Default Swingarm stand

Do you guys think that a harbor freight swing arm stand would lift a sportster up enough for me to remove the rear turn signals? I have an iron

Lifting it by the swingarm is not going to give you any extra room to remove the turn signals...you need to lift it by the frame so the swingarm drops down.

I built-up a block of wood about 6"x8"x12" (IIRC) to set my '78 XLCH on when I had to remove the rear wheel. I would just pick the rear of the bike up under the fender and set it up on the block.
