Default Long Ride Shield Mako install

Just installed my new 6 inch Mako from LRS. Hope it blocks the wind as great as it looks on the bike. Great price on these and a discount for forum members. One thing to note if you buy one of these for your Road Glide is the instructions for installation are for a bat wing. Not, that you really need instructions since everything about installing a windshield is pretty obvious except that you they don't mention removing the rubber weather strip from your old shield and re-using it for the Mako. If you don't do that, you get some pretty decent sized gaps between the shield and the fairing in a couple of places. I had to buy a tube of weather stripping glue from the auto parts store to make the weather stripping tacky enough to re-stick to the new shield.
