Default wife problems

The problem we have is after about a 45 min. ride my wife's legs and butt go numb. We've tried different seats but still have the same problem. I really enjoy riding with her as a passenger but she is not enjoying it very much. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate any ideas to help with this problem. Thanks in advance.

Maybe it's the position of her feet/legs that is the problem. Different pegs/floor boards maybe??

How about back support? change the angle of it.

What Bike?
How tall is your wife?
Pegs or floor boars?
Back rest or just hanging on?
Is she getting vibration up thru her feet?

IMO, that would be a good start. I switched the oem pegs out for the affordable mini-boards from HD and that scored me a lot of points with the OL.

Maybe you don't have a wife problem, perhaps it's that you have the "wrong bike" problem?

My wife doesn't ride with me anymore, but here are a few things we would do:
-I place my feet on my hi-way bar, she places her feet in my pegs
-If she can lean back, have her wrap her legs around your waist with her feet in your lap
-If she can stand up as you ride, do so…
-The femoral artery (inside of thighs, culminating at the crotch) blood flow is being reduced and that is the cause for the numbness
-A girlfriend that I had long ago, I taught to ride. Okay, well on long trips, several times we 'switched positions.' (she would 'drive' and I would be the bitch….) we became so comfortable on the bike together, that a few times, we 'switched' while going down the hi-way. Insane; right? But she had been a gymnast so it was easy for her to 'get around me' and get in front…and as I think of it now…… we were invincible….. ah, to be young again.
