Saw something a little funny today.
Headed toward Omaha on I80 today I took a quick break in a rest stop. Coming into the parking area I notice a guy, mid 30's I'd guess, with the stereotypical "biker" look, long hair beard and tats, sitting on a Harley and just cranking the throttle wide open then closed over and over--like he was revving the hell out of it. What was funny about it? The bike he was sitting on was in a small trailer being towed. It wasn't running either. I'm not sure but I think I seen his mouth doing the "vroom vroom" thing.
Just struck me as funny. After I left I got to thinking I should have hung out and watched them leave, maybe the guy is sitting on it while they're cruising down the interstate.

The first thought that comes to mind after reading your post was "Turbospoke".
Sounds like (pun) dude twisting the grip of an engine off HD needs a Turbospoke to increase the simulated realism.
