Default Rim size question for folks running a 180 on the DYNA (Street Bob)??

Hi,

I know the Dunlop GT 502 will fiton the rear 4.5” diameter rim of a DYNA.

For folks who’ve put an Avon, Metzeler Pirelli, etc 180mm reartire, are you using the stock 4.5” rim or are you buying a new wheel with a 5.5”rim?

This wasn’t clear to me when read a few post online.

THANKS

I'm running a metzeler me880
180/55-18 on an 18x5.5

If you want to use your stock rim
Go with the Dunlop one Harley sells or the Pirelli Night Dragon and Michelin Scorcher 31 in 180/60-17 fits the 17x4.5 rim on 06 and later dynas

180 on the 4.5 rim fits just fine.
