Bike lift
I went to Harbour freight today and bought a 1500lbs bike lift for $89. Long story short, the lift works like a charm. I believe you can also order the lift online for the same price. I just dont see the point in paying $200 or more for a bike lift your probably only going to use a couple times a year! Or maybe I'm just being cheap.

I bought the high lift so I could get the the shocks underneath my Softail. It was about $140 with a coupon. I drove an hour to pick it up though, as two hours in gas and my time was cheaper than the $100 shipping fee I would have incurred.

I lined up 2x coupons back around early December and got the same one for $59.00..with the little flashlight. The gray Pittsburg Automotive one.
Arrived at my house in a box that was pretty beat up, torn...but took it all out, put it together....works just fine.
I'm a firm believer in buying local made stuff when I can...and do it often. But back then...my bike had a breakdown, I was strapped for cash during the holidays, and needed to get my bike up in my garage on something quick 'n cheap.
Honestly the lift is fine. My FHLS has been up on it all winter. I've even run the engine several times this spring while it's up on the lift. The lock for the lift does it's job.
