I head down there from Ohio to visit my daughter and run Rt. 250 from Wheeling down to Fairmont. There are some interesting twists, turns and small towns. Some hairpin turns are pretty high up with no guard rails and you can tell if you ran off the road no one would know until the stink hit the road. Hell of a fun ride if you are careful.

WV has some of the best riding in the east. I should know I live here.

Some of my favorite rides:
Route 219 from Lewisbug to Elkins.
Route 250 from Huttonsville to Monterey, Va is an awesome ride.
Route 60 from Charleston to Lewisburg is nice and curvey.
Anything around Snowshoe Resort, Cass Scenic Railroad, and Greenbank Observatory.
Check out Sceneca Rocks to Petersburg and over to Davis, WV
The Highland Scenic Highway is a nice ride. Great views.
Route 20 from Webster Springs to Buckannon.
Rout 50 from Grafton to Winchester, VA

Allot of people will stay at Snowshoe Resort and use it as a base while riding the area.

PM me if you're near Snowshoe. I can give you a guided tour.

I have heard great things about Route 33. I have not ridden on it yet, but it is on my list for this year.

I frequently ride on I-77 from Charlotte to Wytheville Va and take I-77 to Bluefield WVa. Anywhere around Harpers Ferry is nice as well.

Head out to West Virginia, pick up West Virginia route 55 through Petersburg and down to Seneca Rocks, where you pick up US 33 and take that back to Harrisonburg, VA.

born in West Virginia, never lived there, but always visited the old family. Just make sure you can run.... just in case you hear "he sure do got a pretty mouth"

I live in Bluefield and there are plenty of nice places to ride in the area depending on what you in to mood for.

The back of the dragon from tazewell to marion virgina is only about 15 mins from my house.

Wv has a bunch of good roads to run on, just be careful; this winter has wrecked havoc with heaves, sand and collapses.
