Posted this in Tech/Tips also but, it doesn't look like that get much traffic so thought I would check here to.
Got a new (to me) custom built bike a few weeks ago. Had issues with the battery a couple of days ago and decided to put in a new one. Last night I installed the new battery and found a little black box that I have no idea what it is. It has two set of wires coming out of the back and is wired into the harness so, I can't follow them to see where they go. Any ideas?

Any numbers on it?

 

No numbers and nothing mentioned about security when I bought it. No other switches for the security that I can find.

EDIT: After more research, turns out that is a control module for the digital speedo. Had me befuddled....

 

I have the Turn, run, brake component added to mine.. but,, its a plug and play that goes in the wiring under the seat,, but the pic don't look like mine.. could be a brand other than MoCo's...????
