Is what this dealer said true?

Is what this dealer said true?
I'm trying to buy a 2005 Road Glide with 12,000 miles and some screaming eagle work. All work was done at a dealer with documentation. The dealer chosen to do the inspection for warranty told the owner that Harley will not pass it because the motor is not bone stock.
Is there any truth to this? The bike is cleaner than my buddies 2012 and runs like a top...like a scalded top.
By the way I am brand new and this will be my first Harley since 2000. My 97 Fatboy had stage one work and never gave me a hint of trouble, but after renting a 2013 Road Glide last weekend (going to pick it up again in a few) this is the bike for me.
Help.

If that specific dealer did the work and wont warranty it....Thats beyond wrong. They dont trust their own work then..Move along.

Keep in mind that it's not Harley making the call. It's the extended warranty provider licensed by Harley to use their name. I would still try a different dealer.

Not always true. Some dealers will. The ESP has a large variety of underwriters. As many have stated shop around till you find one that will carry that paper.

You're trying to get a extended warranty on a bike thats 9 years old? I thought the warranty only covered the first 7. What do I know, I never had or needed one. You can actually keep on renewing or getting it regardless of the bikes age? News to me.
