I need a TSSM 68923-00C. I see them on Ebay, but they always end with an "A", "B", or "D" instead of a "C". One Ebay ad for a 68923-00D said:

"SAME AS 68923-00A 68923-00B 68923-00C 68923-00. THE LETTER JUST INDICATED PRODUCTION GENERATION."

Is that true? Would anyone know?

 

the letter denotyes an evolutionary revision of the product. there was a change made between letter a and b and so on its still the sam,e product but the factory made a change to it to make it "better" at some point the further int othe alphabit you go the more changes where made till they got it right or changed it to a differnt unit

It's also possible that the letter change indicates a supplier change.
