Default What should I be riding?

Okay So I bought an iron 883 last year brand new. Always loved the look of the bike but truthfully I convinced Im just to big for the bike. Im 5'10 and 260 lbs. I'm by no means a small guy. So Whats everyone's opinion?

Rent a few and get the one that fits your riding style the best. Hard for us to say what will be right for you. Im a large guy and love the fit of my FXST.

Something with a big tire on the back end, you don't wanna look like a lollipop going down the road. Breakout, Fatboy, Road King, all good choices. I prefer touring because the adjustable rear shocks. If you put on a tour pack, it hides your bigness from the back.

Fortunately for you, Harleys seem to be built for folks around 5' 10", so you won't have to make all kinda adjustments for that.

I'd demo what I was interested in and than go from there. Myself, I thought I wanted a Heriitage but instead I went with the Road King and loved it! Still miss it and probably always will. I traded it in on a Tri Glide to be able to continue riding because of medical issues! Good luck with your decision!

Yes, take a few test rides & just not around the block. Take it out on the freeway. I would suggest you put some thought into it, because you don't want to up-grade every other year, unless you got the $$$$$.

Sit on a few bikes and see what feels right then go test ride them and see which rides the way you want. I think for your size the Dyna and the touring family might be your best options.

He didn't ask about handling or power, he asked about bikes that wouldn't be too small for him.
