Confused owner . Am I wrong in asking why HD is making so much crap from China. We have to keep Hd alive but not this way. Stop buying this **** and maybe HD will build USA again. I know we work here for more then a dollar a day But lets get back to made in USA

I agree. I will pay a little more for American products if it keeps us from being owned by foreigner countries. That is a small price to pay.

harley does this to maximize profits. they don't really care about the consumer. they have become just like the auto builders, having cheap parts built by vendors with no quality control. it's all about the bottom line.

I wonder what a Harley would cost if every bit was made in the USA. My guess is 3 times more.

3x if they hired high school kids at minimum wage....actual craftsman? I don't even want to do the math!!!

if the MoCo was to build and source all american parts, the average Sportster base model would be priced in the 85-90K range so that the board of directors would be able to maintain the profit margisn they have becoem used to from current business practices

I think they should be made in Antarctica. They don't even have an economy, and there's millions of penquins standing around doing nothing.

They make more on their clothes than they do their bikes.

Quit buying their clothes and giving them free advertising would be a good start.
