Heard a rumor today that the family sold the company. This came from someone who used to live in the area and he mentioned that he was told that the company was sold. You guys hear anything?

He said it could be BS but figured someone here would know...

 

have not heard this, but wouldn't surprise me as their prices are high and you pay shipping on everything. if you bought something from them, you overpaid.

 

Besides them and dennis kirk, what other companies are there. I mean that are similar in what they carry?

 

I've had good experiences with J&P. Their selection is good, they've been dependable and as for price it's right there on the page. If what they're selling something for isn't reasonable I just move on.

 

I just bought some J&P brand risers, half the price of HD parts. Quick shipping, no problems with them.

I bought that derby cover from J&P shown on my avatar. While it was not cheap, it was true quality, plus the gold stars and inlays were real gold. I feel I got my money`s worth.
