Default Extra Security Lock? What do you use? Looking at an alarmed disc lock.

I'm looking at getting a Xena alarmed disc lock. My bike has security, insurance, and will have GPS tracking - but I was thinking it wouldn't hurt to get this Xena thing on it. Have you guys had issues with your lock? Any False alarms with motion ..etc on the disc locks. Any other products that you found helpful?

I think it will be better to buy a cheap hard disk lock like abus and put fullness alarm system on bike with motion, hit, tilt sensors and gsm in, which call to a phone if one of those sensors picked up

The Xena's are sensitive, but I've not had a false alarm other than pulling my helmet off the mirror and setting it off. It rearms itself.

Pair of handcuffs usually do the trick. Cheap, small, work. I dont know to many people who carry around handcuff keys. Except cops. We can all trust the cops, right?

Locks mean nothing to 4 guys in a van. HD means "hasty disappearance".
If thieves want it, they will get it.

This.

I have an alarm/siren/pager/fork lock set up. I've thought about getting a disk lock that HD has or one like it, when I park it at home but I've never gotten around to having the extra cash.

As for this one, this is the first I've ever seen it. Kind of cool!

Dude, lots of folks carry handcuff keys. They're very easy to get.
