Default Anybody using an Airhawk product?

Thinking about trying the Airhawk R. Don't really want to buy a new seat right now. Stock seat on a Road Glide Ultra.

Anytime I plan on doing over 100 miles I toss the Airhawk on my SG and it's like sitting on air, great product!

I have the Harley Road Zeppelin that I use for traveling. I won't go distances without it.

I have an airhawk and it's great. Covered my stiff springer seat with it and it worked really well. Road 400 miles with it a couple weeks ago.

Shortly after buying my Ultra last year I went on a 6 hour ride to the mountains. An hour and a half into the trip my butt and back were killing me. I know, spindly butt! I had to pull over and buy a pillow to sit on for the remainder of the trip! It wasn't a pretty sight. Anyway, once I got home I ordered the Airhawk. It has been a lifesaver on long trips. Just got back from a trip to Florida from South Carolina and it was awesome. I couldn't have made it without it.

FYI,

Danny Gray seats just came out with a built in Air Hawk pad in one style of their seats.

Check prices on ebay. That's where I found the best deal on mine.

I bought one 13 years ago for my retro Triumph Bonnie. It was really to give my knees more room than help the butt. Put on 100,000 miles and that Ultra seat will be fine.

Default Thumbs Up

I have one that I throw on the seat when ever I know it is going to be an all day ride. Without I am miserable by the end of the day. With it I feel pretty good for an old guy who spent all day on a bike.

I found mine on a Craigs List for about 1/2 price.

Cheaper than a new seat plus I like the look of my seat better than a lot of the aftermarket high comfort models.
