Default New guy with a new idea for a battery bag

First off, let me say that I'm not much of a leather guy. I have no interest in leather saddlebags, etc. However, I do appreciate the workmanship of the BAD&G battery bag - its just not my style.
So, I set out to find an alternative to use for a battery bag.
I picked up this Ammo pouch for 7 dollars. It is waterproof and a little less width but a little more length than the BAD&G bag. The cool thing is it has a belt loop on the back, which allowed for the battery box band to feed tightly through it, which is what is holding it to the box.

Here it is with a bottle of water in it

Bottle of water, 3 pairs of XKDs and my garage door opener in the front pouch

Nice! I like that. Where'd you find it?

If it was on Amazon, I'm surprised my wife hasn't seen it yet. She lives on that site. But I don't have a oil tank like that, so I'm not sure it'd fit my bike.

Nice idea but the bag looks like it would eventually scuff through the finish on the battery box cover.

Nice find, and at $7.00 it's a bargain.

Seems less likely than a leather bag, but not too big of a concern anyways. Battery box is easily fixed with a rattle can job.

Don't put too much weight in it, battery band could pop off.

That would be my concern as well. I'd get rid of the grey trim and fix the bag with nuts and bolts though the 4 holes where the trim pins attach to the battery box
