Default stage I modification

I am not wanting to know the options or what is best, what I want to know is this: Is a stage I modification worth the effort or is it just something to say you have done. thanks for any replies.

It's worth it if you want your bike to breathe better and get a few more horsepower while you're at it.

Otherwise your bike will sound like a Honda.

I don't worry about mpg. Most people can't tell or use the difference with small hp changes. I myself liked the better sound and the replacement of stock parts that were cheesy to my opinion. I tuned my bikes richer and changed other things. I do want a richer running, cooler engine. Tuning and oil selection did the most for that--not stage one kit.
