Do you just buy the boots you like or have to have motorcycle boots ?

 

I do most the time.

 

My old work boots always become my new motorcycle boots.

 

I ride in both.
I have a pair of Justin's for going out for dinners or meeting friends.
Got a pair of og Doc Martains for straight up riding and I wear my Carolina work boots sometimes too.

Cowboy boots can be a little slick on the ground.

 

I wore Cowboy boots on my Vulcan 750. With my FLHTCUI, I like the added traction, support of either a motorcycle boot, or solid work boot. I wear either the waterproof HD Lynx boot, or Redwing Lace up work boot.

 

this is my redwing boot collection. i have rode with every pair but i usually wear the engineer boots on the ends of the top row but i have started to wear the lineman boots on the right of the middle row once in awhile too.

 

Ropers here...

 

Double H Roper boots, with the Ice outsole. Haven't had a problem with them slipping on any surfaces yet.
