Wow, that is a triumphantly blatent error.
If I was a Triumph dealer, that poster would be hanging prominently in the showroom.

Then again, how many people would look at the photo and think, "That's not a Harley. Clearly it's a Triumph and that is Gary Scott !" Maybe one out of 100,000?

IMO, it's hard to really make a big deal out of this. Harley isn't selling the image to anyone or claiming anything about the image. It's just a backdrop.

In short, so what?

Gary Scott is apparently an old-school dirt racer who races Triumphs way back whenever.

On second thought, the man-from-Mars girly-man full face helmet should have been a dead giveaway he wasn't on a Harley. That ain't cool. Real Harley riders have fingerless gloves, doo rags, and they scowl. He looks happy like he's having fun, not like he wants to bust a cap in someones azz.
