I'm looking at a new set of boots and the Bates Aston has caught my eye. Easy to get into and waterproof. Anyone have an opinion on this boot???

 

I have Bates Tahoe boots, not Aston. I like the construction and quality.

 

I have the Bates Escalante Motorcycle Boot. After a couple of months and a few thousand miles they're already looking worn. The left boot is already scuffed. That said, I like the tread and they grip well. They broke in quickly. I've worn them in light, but not heavy rain and they kept my feet dry. They're comfortable to ride in. Less so to walk in.

I'm not sure of the long term durability yet. They're pretty much what I expect from an under $110 boot. Overall I liked my Navy boots better.

 

I have the Bates Escalante boots also. Bought them 3 months ago. They are more comfortable to wear than the Ormond boots.
