Windshield Bag?

Windshield Bag?
Don't know how many of you guys have this 'problem' but it when I go out for a ride, I would rather not have a lot of stuff in my pockets (wallet, cell phone, glasses, etc) so I throw all of it in one of my saddlebags.
The problem is fishing is all out when I get to the destination; can't really see in there and frankly its kind of a pain. I friend suggested getting a windshield bag where I can more easily put and retrieve stuff. It sounds practical, but just wondering how you folks think about windshield bags. Do they really work as intended?
Thanks

Sounds like it would fill your needs just fine. I have a tail bag with a small pouch on each side and I use them just about every time I ride

The was one of the first things I added to my Fatboy when I got it. It's where I have my garage door opener Velcroed in, and where I carry an eyeglass case for holding my glasses while riding.

Thanks guys....done.
One other question: its mounted low enough on the windshield not to interfere with visibility? I have seen some photos where it seemed kind of high up...like on the cross brace.

The one I have is mounted to the cross brace of the windshield on my Heritage. It doesn't interfere with my vision at all.
