Does anybody know how you can tell if a bike has ABS by looking at it? What exactly do you look for? Ryan

 

Ive got a blinking light on my gauge lol... Plus there is an box somewhere up under the seat..

 

There is a black spacer with a wire running from it on the axel, see pic in this thread. Also, see pics on google images.

look for a second smaller cable on the left side to your front brake.

 

One of the front wheel spacers will be the black ABS sensor with a cable attached to it.

 

Yes. I can tell by the spacer on the front brake and on softails there's a ABS cylinder mounted between the front bars of the frame.

 

Thanks a lot I just get tired of asking people if they have it on their bike. I knew you could tell from pictures but wasn't sure what to look for. This helps a lot so I don't have to keep emailing people if they have it or not

I read that the gauge icon would light up if you have it. That should tell you. I know I don't and wish I did.
