That sucks. Happened to me almost two years ago. Hopefully he has good insurance.

 

It's a race bike so I sorta doubt it...all kinds of one-off hand made parts on it.

 

Update: bike is recovered in Victorville, not far from El Mirage. Apparently there was such a shitstorm started on Facebook and various internet forums the thieves dumped it and someone called it in anonymously. It was a little worse for wear but intact.

 

Glad to hear he got it back and "social" media worked for a positive thing. Stupid local thieves probably didn't know what they had until the switchboard lit up...
