Being the newb with gps' that I am I have a couple questions... I pulled my old Nuvi 40 out and might use it on the bike. I noticed it has no headphone jack, so that might be a deal breaker... Anyway... It looks like you can download gpx files with waypoints into it, but I am not sure by reading the specs. Can you download gpx files to this one?

Also, I see it has the slot for an mini sd card. Am I going to need an SD card to download my maps?

 

The Nuvi 40 doesn't support Route files.
