Decompression Ride
Been working 12-14 hrs a day since January, finally got fed up and decided to take off all next week for a 1200 mile solo ride. I'll be updating everyone when I get back. Ride will start in Denver. Planning on riding state roads up to the Tetons, into Yellowstone, then back down the Idaho border, into Utah, then head back home (hopefully feeling much better about my life lol). Just need some time to hang out and do my own thing. If anyone is in the area and wants to hang out let me know, I'm always down to drink a few beers and talk motorcycles. Better yet anyone that wants to come with is welcome!

HAHA! I talked to a friend yesterday about doing that. We're both in our late 20's and we're saying how we wished it were still the 70's where you could leave for a while and ride and come back but still get a good job. Now-a-days people ask so many questions about why you weren't working and why this that and the other that they damn near figure you were in jail or something! I'd definitely love to do it if it were possible though!

I just moved to Denver last august and haven't seen much of it due to a hectic work schedule. But i have worked in the flat iron mall a few times. So i do know where broomfield is. Where are some good meet up places around the area????

Sounds like a great decompression ride, OP. I just finished 3 weeks of hell in court (I am an attorney) and I am taking a modest 2 hour ride down PCH to do, as you say, decompress. These bikes are great for that.
By the way, in the 1970s it was also a hassle explaining why you weren't working for this or that period of time.

Wife and I are about to ride up Idaho to the Canadian boarder across Washington and then ride the Pacific Coast Highway down to Frisco before heading back to the grind.
Have fun guys, be safe.
