Thunder by the Lake (I think that's what it's called) anyone ever been? I am looking for a decent ride / festival / party for the 4th. Our 35th anniversary is the 7th. Want to ride somewhere. Cadillac is about 250 miles from here and I am not finding much info. Any help is appreciated.

 

I grew up by Cadillac, and my parents still live there. I'll ask my dad if he knows anything for you....I know he'll be cruising around up there.

Nothing happening that I could find on the 4th, but the Class of 69 is having a reunion on the 5th.

It's called the Cadillac Freedom Festival. What I do not know is what is there to do there?

 

I live 45 min from Cadillac and have never heard of it (the festival that is...). We spend the 4th in Frankfort and always hit the fireworks there that night. GREAT time and great fireworks display right on the beach. Lots to do all along that lake shore and it don't get no purtier.

I know Lake City has "The Greatest 4th in the North" I've gone to that a few times as a kid.

I still haven't talked to my dad; been busy all weekend with other ****.

We are beyond the big party / rally scene like Hog Waller. We are looking for a quieter weekend ride.
