ordered the kit and decided to lower 2" today. problem is, both sets of collars are the same width, just different diameters. anyways i didn't think twice about it, so the instructions said put the larger collars on for the 2" lowering, so that's what i did. finished the job, brought out the tape measure, and the bike (ground to fender lip) is only 1-1/4" lower. what's the deal? did i get the wrong collars for the job? anyone have some experience with this? bought them from dead creek cycles, but haven't contacted them yet because of the holiday.
