Default Starter/Airbreather bang...

At times I get a Bang from the starter and some back fire through the air breather...09- 96ci motor....from what I am being told ...Harley installed compensator springs from the 88ci and say they are too weak for the extra compression from the 96ci motor...and now that I have upgraded with pipes, heavy breather, exhaust , and power tune this problem has gotten worst...The say the fix is to install new compensator springs in the primary...and this will solve the problem.....???? any one else had this issue

Had the same thing on my 07 Fat boy. Did the SE compensator, no change. Lived with it until the starter crapped out. New starter fixed it.
