While I've had various bikes over the years I'm in a position to purchase my first HD. After a lot of research I've decided on the 2014 Iron 883. The list MSRP is $8399. The dealer says there is not much room to negotiate on the Sportsters, which I understand, but I'm curious what other riders actually paid. Thanks for any help.

 

I Paid list on a 2013 1200 C Anniversary, Last year... With no set up/delivery charges and the 1000 and 5000 services no charge.. With my 2011[late in 2011] Tri-Glide I got a grand off list With no set up/delivery charges and no charge for the 1000/5000 service's, There isn't much wiggle room on Harleys..

 

I paid 4K for my 07 883 Custom, sat for four years and I did the 1K and 5K service myself, and every one after that.

 

I just purchased a 2014 Iron 883 (XL883N Model) in the hard candy voodoo purple flake and had Vance and Hines exhaust added on along with other custom work done at my local HD Dealership. I bought the bike in May and I'm still waiting on it because the parts we need had to be pulled off the assembly line from Harley and shipped to us. They are really good to me and this is my second new bike in 6 months so I got it for $9000. If you know people and you know what you want there is always room for negotiation.
