Post Need help identifying a Harley

My friend and I have been searching all over the internet for a 1965 Harley Davidson 650cc V-twin, we think it was called either "Road King" or maybe "Road Hog". It was only released that year, 1965, and the one he saw looked customized paint and production. Limited edition model? We don't know how many sold or produced.
He has seen it before on internet searches, but doesn't remember how they found it...can we get any help/info on this bike?

Sorry but there was no such thing as 1965 650 cc V-Twin. '65 was the first year for the Electra Glide and last year for the panhead era. It was a 1200 cc bike.

Could it have been a 1965 servi-car 45"(742 cc) engine on a custom build ?

Like the others have said there was no 650cc harley in 65.

I'm thinking someone confused the "65" Sprint designation with 650cc. The sprints were 250cc engines.

Here's a pic of a 250 in full "Road Race" trim:

I wouldn't think they would confuse a Sprint with a V-twin but I guess stranger things happen.

I believe it. I came out of a C-store from paying for gas one day and a guy was standing by my bike looking at it. He said, "Harley huh?" I said yea. He said "is it a sportster?" I said, "no, a road king" he said "well then I like it". He didn't know what he was looking at but I guess he wasn't going to like it if it was a sporty. Some people really leave you shaking your head.

If I ever see him when I'm on my sporty I'll know to tell him it's a Road Glide. LOL!
