Default 2001 Road King Classic Seats

I have a 2001 road king classic ... Can someone tell me what other road king years will fit on my bike? The newer year road kings seem to be more comfortable than my stock seat on my 2001 ... I like the basket weave on the original seat or I would consider buying a different brand of seat ... The basket weave on the original seat matches the saddle bags.

Thanks for the help
Brad

I believe it is '95-'07.

Somebody else will correct me I'm sure if I am wrong.

If you stick with the stock basketweave seat, you aren't going to get a fraction more comfort out of one over the other. It's virtually the same seat you already have. If you are intent on keeping the stock looking seat, I suggest you get the one you have redone with something better than what Harley puts in there. Gel inserts, better foam, something like that. There are several companies that do it at a reasonable price. If newer seats are more comfortable than the older ones, it could be because the new frame causing them to modify the seat and those aren't going to fit on your bike.
