Default Wide Glide or Breakout

So I'm looking to purchase in the next few months. I love how the Wide Glide looks. I like the chopper look of it. Of course everyone says how much better the softail models ride. I'm not opposed to the softails but the only model I really love the look of is the Breakout. I'm looking at a used dealership at models that are a year old, slightly used. The difference in the two I'm looking at is $4k. So in the opinion of the peanut gallery, is it worth the extra $. I also assume the maintenance on the replacing the tire on the Breakout is more costly since it has a 240 vs the 180 on the Wide Glide. I know I just need to get out and ride them both but what's your thought on the issue?

Ride them both but the Breakout is sweet.

Recently switched from Night Train to Road King but if I had to choose between the two I would go with the Wide Glide more versital.

I've ridden a Heritage softail and I owned a Dyna Wide Glide,
and you have to look at a lot of things. A dyna shakes like a
dog crapping a peach seed at a red light or stop sign but is as
smooth as silk on the hi way where as the heritage was as
smooth as silk at the red light or stop sign but you can feel
a buzz in your butt at hi way speeds. When it comes to
performance the Dyna uses all of it's torque and horse power
to get you moving and keep you moving, where as the softail
uses some of its torque and horse power to get and keep the
counter balance weights moving.

Wide Glide. Use the $4k difference to make it how you want it.

Owned both. Enjoyed both. Traded the WG for the Breakout and haven't looked back. As for tire prices I paid less for the Breakout rear tire than I did for the WG. Michelin Scorchers are expensive. I was averaging about 9k miles on the WG tires. So far got over 11k on the front of the BO but had to replace the rear at 5700. Those were Dunlops. New rear is a Michelin CII and so far 6k with maybe 2K more at best.

I got the Michelin CII rear tire for $219.00 online which a local dealer matched.
