Where were you guys
Where were you guys when it was 34 degrees out? I did not see you riding, OK I get that its awful cold and you don't have a mask or full face to keep your face from freezing off.
Where were you guys when its was 45 degrees out? I did not see you riding, not really an excuse for this, 45 is not that cold, maybe your not that much of a morning person and dont like a brisk ride.
Congratulations, this morn it was 54 and 74 in the afternoon and you made it out, bikes everywhere. Too bad in a week it will be too hot for ya.

The only excuse I have is a scar from my collarbone to diaphragm where the surgeon opened me up to replace a heart valve and was down for 2 months of no driving and not to mention the snowfall of 112" this past winter. Sorry I didn't meet your expectations. So why aren't you riding now instead of sitting behind a keyboard?

Easy there. This was meant to be a fun post. hope you heal up fine. I just rode home from work and I get on the keyboard before dinner. Maybe its just too much to ask of this forum to have a post without it turning into a pissing match. As I rode home today, I see bike everywhere, so I ask, where were you guys before today.

My coldest was in January and it was 30°...70 miles to Dallas. Before that, 34° to Dallas. I think 50-60° is comfortable for me and the bike. It beats 104° with 90% humidity like last summer.

I was 100% bike only from October until April, so, yeah... I'm still personally bike only, but I do have access to the ol' lady's car when she isn't using it now, so there is that.
As far as not trying to start a pissing match, well, you basically made a thread calling people out for not riding in weather that you deem rideable... What the hell do you expect? I will say this, as someone that rode all winter long, rain or shine, I have no beef with people that choose not to ride under 50 degrees, hell, even under 60. There is nothing "brisk" about it; when you get to a static air temperature of 45-50 and then add the windchill of riding the bike on top, it feels to you like it is in the low 30s, at least on the highway at 70mph. That is straight up cold.

That's funny, I was just wondering the other day why I didn't see you riding next to me out here in Colorado this past winter.
Well maybe you'll come out next winter

I picked my bike up on October 21st, 2013. I have 11,400 miles on it as of today. The winter started in November and finally got the hell out of Dodge in April. If you didn't see me then you weren't looking.
