Default Purt near had the big one....

Ok so the last couple days when I put on my helmet to go to work there is stuff tickling my face when going down the road with vents blowing air in you know like a mustache hair on your nose feels?

So yesterday I come out to go to the bank and put on my full face helmet, strap it up good, snap the strap back and get on the bike....

Something big walks across my face and lips and onto the visor at nose level. We have wolf spiders here in AZ that get about the size of a baseball with legs spread out and I was now face to face with one about golf ball size inside my helmet. Trust be they look way bigger than they are this close on a visor and he appeared big enough to eat my face.

It was all I could do to stay calm and undo the helmet to get it off in case he jumped in instead of out when I open the visor. He stayed put gladly and I threw my helmet off. Her he is next to the helmet and no I did not pee myself

That'd suck alright. I've never had anything like that happen or a bee get in my shirt...yet.

On a ride last month, my wife motioned me to pull over in the middle of nowhere. She got off the bike and said something had stung her. And on her back was a big spot where bee or something got her.

I got a bee inside my FF helmet on my sportbike once. It nailed me twice before I could get the helmet off. Had a wasp stuck in the left ear strap on my 1/2 helmet once too but fortunately the impact killed it before he could do damage.

Just slays me that adult men turn into little girls around spiders. Glad you survived it.

As for a big one? Nope. This is a big one!

All nine inches of her.

Yikes! About 2 weeks after I started riding again, I got a dragonfly stuck in my ear. My half helmet had a neck curtain that acted like a funnel right into my ear. It was all I could do to get the bike stopped safely. I wasn't able to get it out on the side of the road, so I headed back to the house..luckily only about 3 miles away. The whole time, it sounded like it was scratching on my eardrum...NOT a pleasant experience. I tried everything to flush it out, but no luck. I went to the closest urgent care, and they were finally able to pull what was left of him out. I have worn earplugs ever since.
