Oil change all holes
Hey guys I am going to change my oil all 3 holes using amsoil synthetic. Which weights or each and how many do I need for each hole? Thanks

If you still have the manual to your bike, it will tell you in there how much fluid goes in each hole.

I'll bite......1 qt severe gear 75/140 for tranny, 4 qts 20/50 for crank, but you'll only use 3.5 and you're wasting your money on Amsoil synthetic anything for the primary.

Amsoil is over rated, only one more additive than Mobil 1. And you need your shop manual to know your capacity. Even then mine called for 3.5 in my 13 Heritage, but it only took 2 to fill the horse shoe take to the full level.
As far as oil weight, I use 20 50 in the engine and primary, 75 140 in the transmission. I change them all out at 5,000 miles or one year, which ever comes first.
As far as Mobil 1 , most of us at the airport use it in our piston powered engines and get way passed out TBO's (time before overhaul). Keep in mind they are air cooled horizontal opposed piston engines.

20/50 MC in the motor, 75/140 gear oil in the tranny. Don't waste your money with an expensive synthetic oil in the primary, it's not necessary. Stick with H-D Formula+, it works just as good as anything else!

Check your manual for capacities for your bike. The additive is Zinc referred to by Heritage. In my S.G. I run 4 Qt. 20w50 MCV in the motor, but only after scavenging a full quart out and 38 oz. in the primary. The tranny gets 75-110 SVT.

Your bike came with an "owner's manual" right??? Might want to give it a read for the oil recommendations and quantities. You're going to get "A Million Ways to Change Your Oil in the West" responses so might as well pick your preference (Amsoil, I guess) and go with it...
