Default Roeders Racing rebuild advice

I stopped by Roeders shop during Ohio bike week and saw a sweet Deluxe they had there for sale. It had 25k miles on it but they had rebuilt the engine becuase of a bearing on the balancing shaft. They did the heads, mild cams, 103 big bore etc. I hear the place does great stuff on the V-twins. My question is, do you think this is a good thing to buy a used bike with a built motor?? Will it last? I just putt around town, no racing or anything. So, I dont need the exter power. But, always nice to have. I am just wondering if it would be wiser to find another one.

Roeders has a great reputation. If they say it will last, I would believe them. Another thing. When I had my motor built, the indy who did it said they told him in school that he can build a better motor than the assembly line because everything is done carefully and not rushed as the assembly line. Sounds right to me.

+1

Roeders has a good rep. Ask for an engine warranty with the bike.
