Luray, Va PD and Outlanders, Inc.
On Friday, myself and 3 others took the backroads from Va Beach to Luay, Va for the weekend. We made it to Luray later that evening. Leaving the gas station on our way to the cabin my buddy's Suzuki Boulevard M90 shut down while riding. No electrical power what so ever. It was 9 PM and his insurance said a tow will be there in 2-4 hours! We were still in town and a police officer stopped by. He told us that he has a bike trailer and we can push the bike into the police lot and we can meet him in the morning to take it to a local bike shop called Outlanders, Inc.
Once we got his bike settled for the night I realized that this 6'4" man is going to need a ride. He ended up being my passenger. The other bikes were a Suzuki Boulevard C50 and a Honda N700.
The next morning we get the bike and go to the shop. My buddy was tired of being the passenger so he rode in the pickup. lol Found out it was a dead battery. Gel Battery so no prior warning, just flat out died. He didn't have the battery so I had aquired a passenger again and went to Auto Zone. They had the battery. Took it to outlanders and they did not charge anything and gave us tips on some nice riding roads!
We ended up having a great 800 mile weekend in the Shenandoah!
Kudos to the Luray PD and Outlanders, Inc!

I live in shenandoah county about 45 minutes from Luray. In fact did a road bike stage race there last month that the town helps to support. Great people that way. I've been to Outlanders when I was still a plebe longing for a bike, nice folks who treated me very nicely.
I'm happy you had a great experience in our area!
