Default 4 Point docking hardware fitment BAD

I just spent almost 400 bucks on the 4 point docking hardware and luggage rack set up for my 2010 SG. I already had the detachable backrest and with the 2 point docking hardware the fit was fine. Now i have to wrestle the backrest and luggage rack on. Anyone have a solution or a trick?

i have to pull mine apart at the rear, ever so slightly to get the back rest to latch down

I figure, makes for a rattle free fit?

I have the 4 point system on my FLHTC. At first it was a very tight fit. I use the tour pac in the rear most position, a police squad box forward behind a solo seat and a luggage rack behind the solo seat. They all get just a bit easier to mount after a few thousand miles.

Mine is a bit tight, as well. Better than not tight enough . . .

I recently switched from 2point to 4point. For the backrest I set it on the ground and pulled on it to widen it a bit, fits fine now. For my Razor Pack rack, it fits, but the detachable latches need a little finagling.

It's better to have a snug fit, but I don't have to fight it.
