So I Am trailering my bike to my new home across the country. When I stop for the night I take it out of "transport mode" and rearm the anti-theft. I know that when the anti theft is active there is a draw on the battery but is there a draw on the battery when the anti theft is de-armed and in transport mode?

 

being armed wont to kill the battery over one night or two...not even for a week. it's armed in my shop for a solid week or more when i dont ride

Opps....misread the question...Yes, but it's minute....think the little red light is all that's a drain

 

It will not hurt it for 20 days. Then it goes into sleep. The new systems only draw 1 milli amp armed or disarmed.

 

I'd worry more about chaining the bike to the trailer and securing the trailer so it can't be swapped over quick , like a chain or cable through the wheels not just a tongue lock .
