Default How can I clean the hazey film in my lights

I have a 2011 Electra Glide with a fogy hazy film inside of my headlight and the 2 smaller spot lights. How can I clean them?

Do a search ... There are a couple of threads on this ... I believe that the "solution" is vinegar water and a splash of ammonia ...

Uncle Larry is right... but you have to pull the Hal Bulbs out and with a long cotton Swab,, go thought the hole and Clean the lens from the Inside.....

mine had done the same as Most others have.. I don't worry about it as it dosen't seem to make any diff in the light output....

Alway remember a Google Search is worth a Thousand Post in here.....

Rubbing alcohol. Take light apart, pour a little into the light. Swirl the alcohol around inside the light then empty it out. Cut a strip of good clean cotton from an old t-shirt (about 1"x4", larger for the main headlight) and carefully swab the inside out to get it good and dry. You can use one of those long wooden stick type q-tips to move the cloth around inside the lamp.

This is the correct method. I have done this several times. Easy-peasey!

do mine with a new microfiber cloth and windex. Cut some off a corner and stick the cut off piece in the light. Get what I can with my fingers and a popsicle stick to get the rest .

always approach your bike from the rear. Mount and ride. You'll soon forget the lights are foggy
